After 8+ great years with NBC, I have decided the time is right for a change of venue. I greatly enjoyed my time at NBC and have made many friends there. I made over 1200 appearances on NBC, MSNBC and CNBC since 2016.

Now I am looking forward to sharing my views on world events with a different set of audiences and am excited to be joining CNN and its many terrific anchors, reporters and contributors as Senior Military Analyst.

I will continue to call ‘em as I see ‘em – and hope to promote a collaborative and thoughtful discussion of national security matters going forward.
